Home staging does not have to be a scene for supporting sales, it may simply be a creation of our immediate surrounding - the house, the room, the table. When the view outside the window fails our expectations and nasty aura gives us a misery, let's build around ourselves own still lifes to improve our mood.
Such a simple operation - the search for the small frame of pleasure and nice associations help us survive the winter, enjoying anticipation of spring. The choice of objects for such arrangements, although depends on your taste, needs and wealth, but not the amount of joy that brings.
For such activities I suggest choosing multifunctional objects, which are in our favorite colors, and having interesting form and texture. Winter light - despite appearances - is not monotonous. It changes constantly revealing in "still lives" around new colors, meanings, maybe even symbols. This could be another advantage of our actions, so that sorrounding us interior is not dull and grey, but becomes subtly inspiring, friendly and optimistic.In the examples of "narrow frames" shown here you can discover my dream of the azure of water and natural greenery. There is poetry of whiteness of snow, as well as vitality of warm and fascinating exotic. One can find hidden dream of traveling and the need for continuous enjoying the beauties of nature with its richness of textures and color qualities. One can see also my fascination with the culture of the Orient and with hand-made, but still fully usable ceramics.
Fun in the creation of own still lifes from finished, favorite objects brings great relaxation, and free, often repeated celebration afterwards, induces dreaming and meditation. Tactile pleasure of interacting with forms created with a variety of materials is in my opinion priceless, because these forms are made by other people often with a huge heart, idea and craft perfection.
